Marie R. McDonough passed away at Epoch Senior Healthcare in Melrose Sept. 3rd at the age of 65. She was born in Lynn MA, was raised in Melrose, graduated from St. Mary's Grammar School and attended St. Mary's High School. She was a homemaker, a lifelong resident of Melrose and a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. Marie was the beloved mother of Kenneth P. Fazio Jr. & his wife Kathryn of Dracut, Michael R. Fazio Sr. & his wife Kathleen of Plymouth, Kevin J. Fazio & his wife Paula of N. Attleboro and Keith L. Fazio & his wife Johanne of Hanover. Loving sister of Anne Bassler, Michael F. McDonough Jr. both of Melrose, Jeanne LeGallo of Billerica, Elizabeth Hubbard of NH, Christine Armstrong of Melrose, Mark McDonough of CT and Kathleen Ferreira of ME. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday Sept. 6th at 8 AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs. 4-8 PM.
