Marie Josephine (Scola) Tuscano, age 81, died at Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwwod, NH on March 21st after a long illness. Marie was born in Boston, raised in the North End of Boston and has been living in Melrose the past 50 years. She was a homemaker, a longtime member of St. Mary's Church, a member of the Ladies Sodality and the Prayer Group at St. Mary's Church. Marie was an avid card player and enjoyed summering in Freemont, New Hampshire for the past 40 years. She was the wife of Frank S. Tuscano. Mother of Donna M. Tuscano-Quinlan & her husband James of NH, Michael Tuscano & his wife Judy of NH, John J. Tuscano & his wife Pattie of Stoneham, Francis D. Tuscano & his wife Stephanie of NH and Paul A. Tuscano & his wife Jan of Hamilton. Sister of Natalie Corrozza of Melrose and the late Frances Tuscano, Joseph Scola, Sam Scola & Vincenza Zermani. Also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. March 25th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 4-9PM.
