Marilyn L. (Boudreau) Wolfe, of Melrose, died on June 12, 2009 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital. She was 72 years old. Born on January 1, 1937 in Everett, MA to the late Cecil J. & Loretta M. (Brown) Boudreau, she was raised in Everett and a 1954 graduate of Cheverus High School of Malden. Mrs. Wolfe worked as a nurse's aid at the Middlesex Fells Nursing Home in Melrose for many years and then as a bookkeeper with Mass Cotton in Woburn for 15 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of Melrose and enjoyed her painting classes, crafts and music. However, her family was her pride and joy. Marilyn loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and other family and friends. She was the devoted wife of Arthur T. Wolfe, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Donna J. Gadway & her husband Roderick of Gonic, NH, Lois M. Wolfe of Melrose, Stephen A. Wolfe of Haverhill & Scott J. Wolfe & his wife Frances of Randolph. Cherished grandmother of Rick Gadway & his wife Meghan of Somersworth, NH & Jennifer Benedict & her husband Raymond of Wakefield, NH. Caring sister of Ronald Boudreau & his wife Camille of Everett. Also survived by many loving sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews & cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose Wed. June 17th at 8AM.
