Mark passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on September 10, 2024. Born in Boston on December 6, 1953 to Francis Sheridan and Miriam Doucette, he was a lifelong resident of Melrose MA. Mark worked for 37 years as a custodian in the Melrose school system serving both Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School and Roosevelt Elementary School before retiring in 2016. During his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his good friends Barry Johnson, Lenny MacLean and Helen Blinstrub.

Mark was predeceased by three siblings; Stephen Sheridan of Halfway OR, Susan Sheridan of Melrose MA and Edward Sheridan of Fitchburg MA. He leaves his sister Janet Lopez of NH, brother Ken Sheridan and wife Dotti of Wakefield NH, sister-in-law Julie Sheridan of Fitchburg MA, nephews Jason Lopez of Brentwood NH, Robert Lopez of Raymond NH, Stephen Lopez of Dover NH, Kevin Sheridan of Hove, England, John Sheridan of Lunenburg MA and niece Kandice Sheridan of OR.
