Marshall W. Geyer, 83, died at Winchester Hospital Tuesday after a brief illness. Born in Everett and raised in Malden, he graduated from Malden High in 1938. Marshall had been a Melrose resident since 1952. He was a stationary engineer at Standard - Thompson of Waltham for 38 yrs. He was the husband of the late Dorothy A. ( McHatton) Geyer. Father of Judith M. High of Sorrento, ME, Pauline Bennett of Oregon and David A. Geyer of Melrose.Brother of Wendell Geyer of TX. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Marshall's life will be held in the Gately Funeral Home, 769 W Foster St, Melrose on Sat Jan 17th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. There are no visiting hours.
