Mary L. (Limone) Bramante passed away at the Elmhurst Golden Living Center in Melrose on July 17, 2014. She was 92 years of age. Mary was raised in the West End of Boston and has been a resident of Melrose for the past 55 years. Mrs. Bramante worked her entire life up to the age of 85. First as a stitcher in the garment district in Boston for over 40 years and then for her nephew Robert at Village Fruit Company in Brookline. Although she did not have any children of her own she was a second mother to all her nieces and nephews. Mary was a very generous person who loved spending summers with family on Long Beach in Rockport. Mrs. Bramante was a longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield, was a member of the Sons of Italy and loved playing bingo and going to Foxwoods. Mary was the beloved wife of the late James P. Bramante. Loving sister of Concetta Athanas, Rose Balasteri, Lena Fortunato, Carmella Scott, Helen Palano, Rosario Limone and Peter Limone. Loving sister-in-law of Laura Limone, Olympia Limone, Connie Mirisolo, Margaret & Joseph Sicari and Rose Pagliarulo. Cherished aunt of numerous nieces & nephews, grand nieces & nephews and great grand nieces & nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, on Monday, July 21st at 10:00AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
