Obituary

Mary E. Calt passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on March 21, 2006, she was 88. Mary was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1935 and from Boston University. She worked as an executive secretary for the Scott Paper Company (presently Kimberly Clark) of Boston for over 40 years. Mary was a lifelong resident of Melrose, a longtime member of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield and a charter member of the Womens Guild at church. She was the daughter of the late Hugh F. & Delia (McDermott) Calt. Sister of Thomas J. Calt of Wakefield and the late, Hugh F., John, George B., James L., Daniel A. & Catherine T. Calt. Sister-in-law of Virginia Calt & Doris Calt both of Wakefield. Aunt of Barbara Dooley of Windham, NH & James Calt of Wakefield. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Saturday March 25th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 2-5PM. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
