Obituary

Mary A. (Caruso) Coakley passed away at Winchester Hospital, on October 20, 2006, she was 80 years of age. Mary was born and raised in Somerville and graduated from Somerville High School. Mrs. Coakley lived most of her life in Somerville and the past 9 years in Melrose. She worked in the accounting department for the MSPCA for 10 years, she was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mary was the wife of the late Henry L. Coakley. Loving mother of Arlene C. Perkins & her husband Russell of Melrose and Stephen L. Coakley & his wife Janet of Malad, Idaho. Sister of Salvatore Caruso of Peabody, formerly of Arlington. Grandmother of Charles & Elizabeth Perkins and Henry & Mary Coakley. A funeral service will be held at the 1st Baptist Church, 561 Main St. Melrose, on Monday, October 23rd, at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Sunday from 2-6PM. Interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge. Memorial contributions may be made to World Vision, P.O. Box 78481, Tacoma, WA 98481-8481
