Mary M. Conley, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Jan. 17, 2012 at the age of 94. Mary was born in Boston, raised in South Boston and a graduate of South Boston High School, Class of 1935. She resided in S. Boston till 1940, Dorchester for 29 years and Melrose since 1969. She worked as a Lab Technician for New England Nuclear in Boston for over 25 years and was a former member of the Melrose Women's Catholic Club. Mary was the caring sister of the late John Conley & his wife Zita, Ethel Flaherty & her husband John, Lawrence Conley & his wife Evelyn and Lauretta Callanan. Sister in law of Francis Callanan of Peabody. Cherished aunt of Joseph Flaherty of Lowell, John Flaherty & his wife Joanne of Georgetown and Francis Callanan & his wife Heather of Peabody. Also survived by several grandnieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday Jan. 24th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7PM. Burial in Old Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
