Obituary

Mary Louise (Tully) Eaves passed away at her home in Danvers, on Saturday, March 24, 2012. She was 88 years of age. Louise was born in Chelsea, MA on March 7, 1924 to the late James & Ida (Levy) Tully. She was raised in Chelsea, graduated from Chelsea High School and lived most of her life in Chelsea. Early in her career she worked as a long distance operator for New England Telephone Company and was a member of the N.E. Telephone Pioneers. Mrs. Eaves was a homemaker who lived in Naples, Florida for the past 17 years; she enjoyed cooking and gardening and was an avid Red Sox fan. Louise was the beloved wife of 67 years to Robert A. Eaves Sr. Loving mother of Robert A. Eaves Jr. & his wife Karen of MD and Ruth M. Cullen & her husband Dan of Melrose. Devoted grandmother of Robert Eaves III and Taylor Eaves of MD and Daniel Cullen & his wife Cheri & Sarah Cullen all of Melrose. Cherished great grandmother of Drew & Liam Cullen. Sister of the late James J. Tully Jr., Ruth Sweeney and Edward Tully. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wednesday, March 28th at 9AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 5:00-8:00PM. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Louise's memory to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl. West, 6th floor, Brookline, MA 02445
