Mary R. Ege, age 95 of Carmel, IN formerly of Melrose, died January 22, 2007. She was born July 27, 1911 in Melrose, to the late James B. and Margaret (McDougall) Walsh. She was an Account Supervisor with the Singer Corporation retiring in 1975, and had been a homemaker to her family. Mary is survived by her son, Kevin Ege; daughters, Judy Doran, Patricia Lareau, and Karen Caputo; 15 grandchildren, and 29 Great Grandchildren. Her husband of 53 years Alphon Ege, and 8 siblings preceded her in death. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday Jan. 27th at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 5-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
