Mary F. (Burns) O'Brien passed away at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, on February 23, 2008, she was in her 98th year. Mary was born and raised in Revere, graduated from Immaculate Conception High School and Burdett Business School in Boston. Mrs. O'Brien was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was a very kind person to all and an example to her grandchildren. Mary worked as a manager at the Boston Furniture Shows with her husband Fred, for over 30 years. She was a founding member of Incarnation Church in Melrose, enjoyed sewing and loved her trips to Cape Cod & Maine. Beloved wife of the late Frederick O'Brien. Loving mother of F. Peter O'Brien of Melrose & Damijan and Dennis J. O'Brien & his wife Maggi of FL. Sister of Agnes Cadogan of Melrose. Grandmother of Peter Anthony, John Paul, Jena & Mary. Aunt of Frank Callahan, Jack Cadogan, Marie Matulewicz & Carolyn Maloon. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Saturday, March 8th, at 9AM.
