Mary V. (Sheehy) Geier died after a long illness at Melrose Wakefield Hospital Sept. 24th at the age of 87. She was born in New York City, raised in Dorchester, lived in Hyde Park for many years and Melrose the past 18yrs. Mary was a homemeaker, a member of the McCarthy House Tenants Assoc and a former member of the Hi Park Senior Group in Hyde Park. She was the wife of the late Herbert J. Geier. Mother of Gregorey P. Geier & his wife Maureen of Malden. Grandmother of Jennifer M. Faith of Everett and Kristin M. Geier of Malden. Great grandmother of Matthew G. & Bryan P. Faith. Sister of Catherine Sheehy of Melrose, James Sheehy of Newton, Rev. Joseph Sheehy of Swampscott and the late Margaret Wherty, Anna Hartley, Helen Jones, Richard & John Sheehy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thurs. Sept. 27th at 9 AM.
