Mary A. "Ginga" (Harrison) Gould, of Kingston, NH, formerly of Melrose, died at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital on April 11, 2014 at the age of 85. Mary was born & raised in Everett and attended Everett High School. She resided in Everett until age 31, Malden for 5 years, Melrose for 33 years and the past 16 years in Kingston, NH. Mary worked as an Assembler for Automatic Radio in Stoneham for many years before her retirement at the age of 72. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed gardening, reading, bingo, dancing, roller-skating, daily mass and traveling to Jamaica, W. Virginia, Florida and Foxwoods. Mary loved to spend her time going shopping with her sister, cousin & friends on weekly bus trips with Lamphrey Elder Home Services. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie J. Gould for 25 years. Loving mother of Paul J. Gould & his companion Ila Deas of Melrose, Mary C. Richardson & her companion James Driscoll of Woburn, Barbara A. Gould and her fiancé Richard Belliveau of Kingston, NH and Mary's adopted son Peter J. Salayko of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Kerriann, Patricia, Lesley and the late John. Caring sister of Margaret Bruno of AZ, Dorothy Long of Malden and the late William Harrison. Former mother in law of Charles A. Richardson of Braintree. Devoted cousin of Rita Coye, who was a sister to Mary. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday, April 16th at 7:45AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial In St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Veteran's group of your choice.
