Obituary

Mary E. Halligan passed away suddenly at her home in Stoneham on July 5th at the age of 76. She was born in Boston, raised in Winthrop and graduated from Winthrop High School. Mary has lived in Stoneham the past 30 years and was a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. She worked as a clerk for the Boston & Maine Railroad for over 33 years. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas & Rosemary (Walsh) Halligan. Sister of the late John F. Halligan. Also survived by many close friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wed. July 9th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 7-9PM. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery Everett.
