Obituary

Mary L. Hartnett died at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth May 12th after a short illness at the age of 85. Mary was born and raised in Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High Class of 1935. She had lived in Wakefield for 15 yrs prior to moving to Melrose over 30 yrs ago. Mary was a supervisor at the Malden Trust Co. in the Time Payment Department for many years and she retired in 1982. Mary was the wife of Daniel F. Hartnett. Mother of Daniel F. Hartnett II of Plymouth, Ruth M. Taylor of Kingston, Robert L. Hartnett of TX and Diane L. Lazzaro of FL. Aunt of Pamela & Nancy Taylor of ME. Sister of Russell Ringland of Stoneham, Natalie Dowd of AZ, Shirley Burns of FL and the late Virginia Ford & Harold Ringland. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W Foster St Melrose on Wed May 15th at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St Mary's Church corner of Herbert & Myrtle Sts, Melrose, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tues. 4 - 7 PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial contributions may be sent to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude's Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
