Mary Bernadette ''Bernie'' (Coughlin) Hooton died suddenly at home Feb. 9th at the age of 92. She was born and brought up in East Boston, Graduated from East Boston High. Bernie lived most of her life in Revere and the past 5yrs in Melrose. She worked as a clerk for Aetna Insurance Co. of Boston for 20yrs. Bernie was a former member of St. John Vianney Parish in Revere. She was the wife of the late Henry J. Hooton. Mother of Henry S. Hooton & his wife Joan of Melrose, Richard M. Hooton & his wife Nancy of Texas and Maryfrances Piselli of Wakefield. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. Feb. 13th at 9 AM. Funeral mass in The Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St. Melrose at 10 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
