Mary Teresa (Edmands) Ledoux died at Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Home Aug. 27th at the age of 75. Mary Teresa was born and raised in Wakefield, graduated from Wakefield High School Class of 1945 and moved to Melrose in 1958. She was a homemaker, a longtime member of St. Mary's Church where she taught CCD and was the CCD Coordinator for several years. She was also a very active member of the Melrose High School Bandaiders for many years. Mary was the wife of Joseph G. Ledoux. Mother of Arthur Ledoux & his wife Nancy of Newburyport, Christine Morin & her husband Louis of Salem, Denise Cranney & her husband Paul of Danvers, Thomas Ledoux & his wife Julie of Wilmington, Michelle Preston & her husband Kenneth of Methuen, Ray Paul Ledoux of Melrose and the late Robert Ledoux. Sister of Gladys Rice NH, Agnes Jones of CO, Margaret Gibbons of RI, Rita Lovett, June Pizzano both of Wakefield and the late Francis Edmands. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday Aug. 30th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs 2-4 & 7-9PM.
