Mary F. (Hugo) Molvar passed away at the Lifecare Center in Stoneham on August 6, 2007. She was 86 years of age. Mary was born and raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1938 and has been a lifelong resident. Mrs. Molvar has a homemaker who was dedicated to her eight children. She enjoyed swimming at the Melrose YMCA, golfing, cooking and was an avid Red Sox fan. Mary was a member of St. Marys Church in Melrose where she did volunteer work and was a member of the Ladies Sodality. She was the wife of the late Henry E. Molvar. Mother of Henry E. Jr. of VA, Robert G. of Lexington, Paul J. of Wilmington, Barbara A. of NY, Philip J. of Bedford, Joan M. of NH, Christine M. of Melrose & John W. Molvar of Newburyport. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Friday, Aug. 10th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church, Herbert St. Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours Thurs. 4-8PM. Interment in Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
