Mary F. (Murphy) ODonnell, of Melrose died at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham on July 11, 2007 at the age of 90. Mary was born in Lynn, raised in Everett and a graduate Immaculate Conception in Everett and Girls Catholic High School. She went on to earn her degree from Wheelock College. Mary enjoyed traveling; she would take trips to Europe, Cuba and loved ocean travel. Mrs. ODonnell was the Past President of the Melrose Arts & Crafts, Melrose Womens Club and the Harvard Womens Club. Mary enjoyed her friends, painting and contributing to many charities. She was the beloved wife of the late Phillip J. ODonnell. Loving Mother of Linus C. ODonnell of Melrose and the late Hugh Roe ODonnell. Caring sister of the late Charles & Catherine Murphy. Also survived by several nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday July 14th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
