Mary T. (Ciccarelli) Pagano of Melrose, died at the Elmhurst Nursing Home on Saturday, January 17, 2009. She was 87 years old. Born on March 6, 1921 in Everett, MA to the late Henry & Martina (Manganiello) Ciccarelli, she was raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1938. Mrs. Pagano worked as a seamstress and ran the A.J. Pagano Upholstery Business of Malden for 60 years along with her late husband Anthony. She was a resident of Melrose since 1958; a member of St. Mary's Church of Melrose, the Melrose Historical Society & the Melrose Chapter of AARP. During their retirement, Mary & her husband ran the Gogo Seniors of Melrose and enjoyed taking day trips with other seniors. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Pagano with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Arthur J. Pagano & his wife Connie of Gainesville, Georgia. Cherished grandmother of Jeffrey A. Pagano & his wife Nadeen of Cumming, Georgia & Stephen W. Pagano & his wife Misty of Waldorf, Maryland. Caring great grandmother of Anthony, Alex, Andruw, Mayci & Ashlynn Pagano. Sister of the late Joseph Ciccarelli, Henry Ciccarelli, Fred Ciccarelli, Ermina Alfano & Anne Warnock. Sister-in-law of Joseph Pagano & Concetta Pagano, both of Everett & the late Frank Pagano. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday Jan. 23rd at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited.
