Mary E. (Barry) Parow, of North Reading, formerly Malden & Medford, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on March 16, 2007 at the age of 76. Mary was born & raised in Medford and a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1948. She was a Homemaker and also worked as a Processor for the Kidder Peabody Brokerage Firm in Boston for 13 years before her retirement in 1993. Mrs. Parow lived in Malden for 30 years and the last 17 years in North Reading. Mary was called Mega-Mary by her children & grandchildren and loved to cook for everyone. Saturday nights were pizza night at the Parow house. Mary would cook 16 pizzas, it was one of her secrets to keeping her large loving family together. She enjoyed reading, holidays, and her tea & always had a smile on her face. This special women was the center of her families life. Mary was the loving mother of Deborah Stanley & her husband Peter of N. Reading, Robert Parow & his wife Sheila of Malden, Karen Bailey & her husband David of Groton, Michele Curley & her husband William of Wakefield, Brian Parow & his wife MaryAnn of Malden, Christine Sheehan & her husband Joseph and Maureen Fisher & her husband Kevin, all of Wilmington . Cherished grandmother of Amy, Jennifer, Jessica, Christopher, Sean, Jamie, Michele-Lee, Danielle, Brian, Ashley, Jacqueline, Joey, Rachel, Robbie and Katelyn. Devoted sister of Roberta Rizzo & her husband Jack of Medford and the late Helen Asaro and Rosemarie Gambardella . Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wed. March 21st at 8AM. Funeral Mass in St. Marys Church Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 4-8PM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
