Mary (Sciacca) Russo died at home on Feb. 13th after a brief illness at the age of 92. She was born in Italy and came to the United States at the age of 4. Mary was raised in Somerville and has been a resident of Melrose for over 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Church in Melrose. Mary was the wife of late Lawrence A. Russo Sr. Mother of Francis C. Russo & his wife Elaine of Danville NH and Lawrence A. Russo Jr. & his wife Claire of Melrose. Sister of Anna Rando of Melrose. Grandmother of Lisa, Larry, Marielena, Christopher & Kathleen. Great grandmother of Ryan, Mary Frances, TJ, John, Jenna, Andy & Jackie. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. Feb.18th at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church Herbert St. Melrose at 9AM.
