MaryAnne O'Donnell, of Stoneham, formerly of Everett, died at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers on June 18, 2013 at the age of 74. MaryAnne was born & raised in Everett and a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1957. She went on to earn her Teaching Degree and her Master's Degree from Salem State College. MaryAnne worked as a school teacher for many years in England, Germany and in Malden. She enjoyed traveling all over Europe for several years and was a member of the Hickory Hawks Ski Club in Melrose and Route 1 Racket & Fitness Center in Saugus. She was the loving daughter of the late Michael & Helen (Gahagan) O'Donnell. Caring sister of SueEllen O'Donnell of Saugus, Shaun O'Donnell & his wife Marlene of Malden, Jane Savage & her husband Peter of Melrose, Quentin O'Donnell & his wife Lucille of Wakefield and the late Michael O'Donnell & his wife Bonnie of Everett, Dennis O'Donnell & his wife Terry of Peabody and Thomas O'Donnell & his wife Ann of Melrose. Cherished companion of the late Walter Sharpiro. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and childhood friends. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday June 22nd at 8AM. A Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-8PM. Burial in Glenwood Cemetery, Everett.
