Meaghan E. Daniell of Melrose died on Friday, March 8, 2013 in Austin, Texas. She was only 25 yrs old. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts on July 23, 1987, she was raised in Melrose and a graduate of St. Mary's Grammar School and Arlington Catholic High School, class of 2005 and then attended Emanuel College for over a year. Meaghan enjoyed people, life and she made sure everyone came before her. She loved the Arts, wrote music, played the Flute, Saxophone, Electric Bass and even tinkered with "the Ivorys" on the piano every now and then. She was an Alter Server at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church of Wakefield for a few years, loved to bake, was very creative and was a big Red Sox fan. She moved to Austin, Texas two years ago and was working as a Hostess at a local restaurant. The Best words to describe Meg were "she was loved thoroughly & deeply by all who knew her and Meg will always remind us of what it means to truly care for one another." She touched the lives of everyone she knew. Meaghan was the loving daughter of Kenneth F. & Pamela J. (Perry) Daniell of Melrose. She was the caring sister of Gregory M. Daniell, also of Melrose. Loving granddaughter of the late Walter & Joan (Mortensen) Perry and the late Leon & Dorothy (Palmer) Daniell. Cherished niece of Thomas Perry & his wife Donna of SC, Brenda Madore & her husband Brian of ME, Robert Perry & his wife Tania of NH & Donald Daniell & his wife Tracey of Wakefield. Also survived by several cousins & a very special close friend Andrew Nease of Texas. Memorial contributions may be made in Meaghan's name to St. Mary's School Scholarship Fund, 4 Myrtle St. Melrose, MA 02176. Funeral arrangements were private.
