Melissa (Perry) Nicholas-Brown passed away suddenly at her home in Melrose, on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She was 47 years of age. Melissa was born in Boston, raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School Class of 1983 and received a degree from the North Shore Community College. Melissa lived in Lynn for a few years and most of her life in Melrose. Mrs. Nicholas-Brown was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family on Lake Winnipesaukee. She loved to ride her bike, swimming, water skiing and skating. Melissa was a very creative person who enjoyed antiques and decorating. She was the devoted mother of Amanda Nicholas of Salem, Amber Nicholas of Brighton, Jennarose Nicholas of Melrose and Isaiah Brown of Florida. Loving daughter of George & Judith (Mathias) Perry of Melrose. Cherished sister of Jennifer McCullough & her husband Robert of Alton Bay, NH. Loving aunt of Ryan & Lindsey McCullough. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, Sept. 28th at 11:30AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend.
