Melissa Ann Perkins, of Melrose, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Aug. 2nd at the age of 36. Melissa was born in Malden and raised in Melrose. She attended Shore Collaborative in Wakefield and had many friends. Melissa enjoyed music, videos on TV and spending time at Pine Banks Park in Melrose with her parents. She was the loving daughter of James & Mary Ann (Williams) Perkins of Melrose. Cherished granddaughter of the late Frank & Elvera Williams and the late John & Dorothy Perkins. Caring niece of John & Elvera Knowlton of NH, Ralph & Valerie Williams of Lynnfield, Frank & Naomi Williams of WV, Jacque Williams of Peabody, John & Cathy Perkins of Medway and the late Anthony Williams. Also survived by many cousins. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday Aug. 7th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. There are no visiting hours. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
