Miassoti Rodriguez, 41, died on July 25, with her loving family beside her in Melrose, Mass. She was a beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Friend to many. Mia was born February 17, 1976, in Boston, Mass, to Mother Carmen N Corredor and Father Hector Rodriguez. Her interest included spending time with her family, music and cars. Her talents where an exceptional hair barber, piano player, mechanic and a funny sense of humor. She devoted much of her time and energy to her children and step children.Mia short for "Miosotys" named from her mom after the Forget-Me-Not Flower. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always, always perseveres." Mia is at peace with the Lord she had a dream earlier this month that he was carrying her. Until we see each other again, let's keep laughing, loving, and living. Mia is survived by her 2 sons, Neil O Franjul and Manolo I Hernandez, sibling., Maria Ruiz Younger, Jessica Frazier Rodriguez, Moises Rodriguez, MiaElizabeth Morales, Jimel Garcia, Junito Rodriguez, Natalie N Ayala Arroyo and Reagan Rodriguez, her sweet Dog Isaiah and her 16 Nieces and Nephews .Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, MA. A Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main St., Melrose, on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow the Funeral Service at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend.
