Michael Francis Butler passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on Nov. 26, 2005, after a brief illness. Michael was born in Boston, raised in Melrose, graduated from Austin Prepatory School and the University of Villanova. Mr. Butler worked as a graphic arts designer for ACME Printing in Wilmington for over 20 years. Michael was a life long resident of Melrose, an avid Patriots fan, enjoyed collecting coins & stamps and was a model train enthusiast. Mr. Butler was the beloved son of Marjorie A. (Ryan) Butler of Melrose & the late Donald F. Butler. Brother of Barbara Vanaria of RI and Cheryl Butler of Melrose. Uncle & Godfather of Kerry E. Butler of Melrose. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. Nov. 30th, at 9AM. Funeral Mass in The Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Tues. 2-4 & 7-9PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
