Michael A. Covelluzzi, of Saugus, died at the Radius Healthcare in Danvers on May 13th at the age of 85. Michael was born & raised in the North End of Boston and was a graduate of English High School Class of 1936. He was in the U.S. Army during WWII and later owned Viking Seafood located in Boston & Malden for many years. Michael was a member and Eucharistic Minister at the Church of the Incarnation Church in Melrose. He was the beloved husband of Caroline (DeCusio) Covelluzzi. Loving father of Roseann Novello & her husband Joseph of Reading & Jean Dearstyne of Saugus. Cherished brother of James Covelluzzi & his wife Bernadette and Rita Covelluzzi, all of Saugus, late Anthony & Dominec Covelluzzi, Emma Jones and Theresa LaTerza. Devoted grandfather of Joseph, Michael, Anthony, Jennifer, Kerri and Jeff. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday, May 18th at 9AM. Funeral mass in the Church of the Incarnation, 425 Upham St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7PM.
