Michael D. Csicsek died suddenly at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, on Thursday, June 11, 2009; he was 48 years of age. Michael was born in Everett, raised in Melrose, graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1979 and from the Northeast Vocational LAP in Automotive in 1979. Mr. Csicsek has been a lifelong resident of Melrose, was a devoted family man and a tireless worker. He worked as an automotive mechanic his entire life and was the proprietor of B&M Auto in Malden for over 20 years. Michael was a talented mechanic and loved his job. Mr. Csicsek was also the Co-founder and business partner of DC Enterprises Unlimited of Malden. He loved woodworking, cabinet making, enjoyed doing renovations and was a member of the Eastside Athletic Club in Malden. Michael was the devoted husband of Barbara (Fondulis) Csicsek. Loving father of Alexis M. & Christiana M. Csicsek. Beloved son of Barbara A. (Falvey) Csicsek of Melrose & the late Zolton J. Csicsek. Caring brother of William P. Csicsek of Pepperell, David S. Csicsek of Brockton & Stephen J. Csicsek of Merrimack, NH. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Tues. June 16th at 9AM. Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St. Wakefield, at 10AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-8PM.
