Michael A. Guzzo, of Melrose, passed away peacefully on April 6th at the age of 60 in Melrose after a long illness.

Michael was born on June11, 1963 and was raised on Marmion Road in Melrose. He attended Melrose High School and graduated with the class of 1981. Michael enjoyed fishing at Ell Pond, bicycle riding and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.

He was the son of the late Mario A. Guzzo and Angelina (La Rosa) Guzzo, brother to the late Joseph P. Guzzo. Survived by his brother Paul Guzzo and wife Mairead, sister Christine Guzzo, former sister-in-law Catherine Cronin, nephews John Guzzo and partner Melissa, Joseph Guzzo Jr and wife Tiffany, nieces Angela Guzzo and Kyra Guzzo, grandnieces Gianna and Ava Guzzo and grandnephew Jake Guzzo all of Melrose.

Michael is now finally at peace after a long battle with health struggles.

Funeral services will be private.
