Michael F. Keddie, of Peabody, formerly of Melrose, died on January 16, 2016 at the age of 46. Michael was born in Melrose on February 26, 1969 to Edward and Mary (Ozea) Keddie. He was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School in 1987. After high school, Michael lived in Malden for a few years, then Leominster for several years, before settling in Peabody where he lived for the past ten years. Michael worked as the Assistant Manager at Montvale Tire in Melrose for 26 years. He always had a love for cars and was an excellent mechanic. He was loved by all of his customers and truly had a passion for his work. Outside of work, Michael loved going camping. Michael was a very outgoing and friendly person with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all of his family, friends, and customers. He was the beloved husband of Kathleen Fahy. Loving father of Sinead Keddie of Peabody. Caring brother of Linda Sybicki & her husband John of Tewksbury, Laurie Bessette & her husband Thomas of CT, and Richard Keddie & his wife Julie of CT. Also survived by several nieces, nephews & friends. A Committal Service will be held at the Holy Cross Mausoleum, Broadway, Malden on Monday, Jan. 25th at 11 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life immediately following the Committal Services at the Knights of Columbus, 23 W. Foster St. in Melrose. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend.
