Michael T. Keohane passed away in Shirley, MA on April 10, 2006, he was 27 years old. Michael was born in Melrose, MA, raised in North Conway & Plaistow, NH, and has been a resident of Exeter NH for many years. At a young age, Michael loved fishing, working on charter boats as a young man in Portsmouth, NH and then as a 1st mate on deep sea fishing vessels for many years out of Portsmouth Harbor. He then started working in construction and worked for M&P Contracting Company of Salisbury, MA for many years. Mr. Keohane was an avid sports fan, loved baseball, basketball and the football season as well as riding his dirt bike. He was the beloved son of Mary A. (Penney) Peters of Seabrook, NH & the late Michael S. Keohane. Brother of Lisa M. (Penney) Danner & her husband Ross of Winchester, NH. Grandson of Cecile Keohane of Salem & the late Michael S. Keohane and Francis J. Penney of DE & the late Rosemary (Joslin) Penney formerly of Melrose. Uncle of Tatum, Rylee & Richard Danner. Also survived by several aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, MA on Thurs. April 13th at 6:30PM. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral on Thurs. from 4:306:30PM.
