Michael F. Keohane Jr. passed away at his home in Malden on Dec.10th at the age of 62. Michael was born and raised in Malden and graduated from Malden High School Class of 1959. He lived in Malden most of his life, Melrose for 20 years and the past 14 years in Malden. Michael was an optical technician for Spectro Film Company of Winchester for 20 years. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Michael was the former husband of Marge A. (Grenier) Keohane. Father of Michael F. Keohane III & his wife Diane, Kathy McNeely & her husband Kevin, Kim Silverman & her husband Irv, Julie Mercer & her husband John all of Melrose, Kristen Keohane of Malden and Linda Brown & her husband Kevin of Melrose. Brother of James Keohane of Malden and the late Marie Ahearn. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Sat. Dec. 13th at 9AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 10AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8PM.
