Michael C. Solimini Sr., of Malden, died suddenly on October 6, 2026, at the age of 61. He was born in Boston, Ma on April 26, 1965, to the late Carmine and Ellen (Thomas) Solimini. He was raised in the North End and Medford, graduating from Medford High School. Michael worked as the Maintenance Director at CareOne of Lexington. He loved the ocean and lighthouses and frequently visited Maine.

Michael was the father of Courtney Solimini, Michael Solimini Jr. and his wife Amy, Zachary Solimini, Jordyn Solimini, all of Malden, and daughter by love, Janee Courtois of Saugus. Grandfather of Andrew Solimini. Brother of Stephen Solimini & his wife Karen, Carmine Solimini & his late wife Theresa, and Cheryl Knosp. He’s also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, October 15th, 2026, from 5:00-7:00pm at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose. A Prayer Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm inside the funeral home. Interment will be private. The family understands the busyness of life, for anyone unable to attend, random acts of kindness in Michael’s memory are appreciated.
