Michelle M. Hodgson, 46, died at York Hospital, York ME, Sunday after a brief illness. Born and raised in Melrose, she graduated from Melrose High in 1975. Michelle had lived in Melrose for 30 years prior to moving to South Berwick, ME, 16 years ago. She was the beloved wife of Michael J. Hodgson of S. Berwick, ME. Loving mother of Shannon M. Serio & her husband Scott of Baltimore, MD Meggan H. Valade & her husband Chris of Nottingham, NH and Michael J. Hodgson Jr. & his wife Trisha of Kennebunk, ME. Cherished grandmother of Haleigh A. & Hunter J. Hodgson & Sidney N. Serio. Sister of Lani Kennedy & her husband Mike of Woonsocket, RI. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Wednesday July 2nd. at 8AM. Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, corner of Myrtle & Herberts St. Melrose at 9AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8PM. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
