Mildred E. (Feltch) Lewis died at Bear Hill Nursing Center in Stoneham Nov.1st after a long illness. She was born and raised in Medford, graduated from Medford High School Class of 1941 and has been living in Malden since 1956. Mildred was Assistant City Auditor for the City of Medford for 35years retiring in 1982. She was a member of the women's professional group Zonta of Medford and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Malden. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Mildred was the wife of the late David E. Lewis. Mother of Donna L. Withers & her husband David of Saugus. Sister of Virginia Stockwood of Belmont, Chester Feltch, Kenneth Feltch both of TX, John Feltch of Hyannis and the late Charles Feltch. Grandmother of David Withers of W. Yarmouth and the late Scott Withers. Great grandmother of Scott F. & Brooke M. Withers of W. Yarmouth. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Tues. Nov. 5th at 11AM. Funeral mass in Immaculate Conception Church 600 Pleasant St. Malden at 12 Noon. Relatives and friend invited. Visitng hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Burial in Forest Dale Cemetery Malden.
