Miriam S. (Scanlon) Gotschall passed away at the Country Club Heights Assisted Living, in Woburn, on April 14, 2007. She was 83 years old. Born in Lynn to the late John & Mary (Walsh) Scanlon, Miriam graduated from Lynn English High School, Regis College and attended Boston College. She lived in Shaker Heights, Ohio for many years and Woburn the past few months. Mrs. Gotschall was a homemaker, she enjoyed playing bridge and reading. She and her husband Charles traveled throughout Europe for many years after his retirement. They enjoyed trips to Paris, Brazil, Spain, Portugal and Yugoslavia to name a few. Miriam was the wife of 54 years to the late Charles H. Gotschall. Mother of Sally G. Stubbs & her husband George of Melrose, Barbara G. Kemp & her husband Steven of Boxboro, Thomas R. Gotschall & his wife JoAnn of GA, Elizabeth S. Lorenzini & her husband Michael of IL and the late John A. Gotschall & his surviving wife Lisa of MD. Also survived by 11 grandchildren.
