Mohamad Talic, of Burlington, formerly of Revere, died at his home unexpectedly on April 26, 2010 at the age of 50. Mohamad was born in Damascus, Syria, graduated High School in Syria was of Bosnian Nationality and went on to attend Dental College in Belgrade, the former Yugolsalvia. He moved to America in 1987 and worked for the Shell Oil Corporation, where he owned & managed several gas stations for over 20 years. Mohamad lived in Revere for over 10 years and the past several years in Burlington. He loved coaching soccer in Revere for the U-10 & U-12 teams and was a former professional tennis player. Mohamad took pride in his work & his gas stations and was presented many awards from the Shell Corporation. He was a very charitable and a good friend to many and will be missed. Mohamad was the loving father of Sammy & Danny Talic of Revere. Devoted son of Fadila Harambasic of Bosnia and the late Fadel Talic. Caring brother of Zlata Karabachi of FL and Rizan Talic of Egypt. Former husband of Ruzica "Rose" (Joncic) Talic of Revere.Fiancee of Edite Possamai. A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home on Saturday, May 1st at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 9-10AM. Burial will be private.
