Monica E. Kaestner passed away on November 24, 2018. She was 33 years of age. Monica was born in Melrose on April 18, 1985, she was raised in Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School in 2003. Monica had been living in Lynn for many years and held various jobs throughout her career. She loved animals, Dunkin Donuts coffee, jewelry, music and the movie Dirty Dancing. In her early years Monica also enjoyed taking ski trips, boating, vacationing on Lake Winnipesaukee and traveling with her family. She is survived by her parents Lori J. (Auld) Kaestner of Middleton and Michael J. Kaestner of Tewksbury, her daughter Kailey Kaestner, siblings Keriann Bleiler & her husband John of Peabody, Geoffrey T. Kaestner of Sarasota, FL and niece Elise Bleiler. She is the granddaughter of Lee Kaestner of FL & the late Jerry Kaestner and the late George & Donna Auld. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives & friends. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 4:00-8:00PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00AM.
