Nancy Anne (Daley) Barry, of Melrose, formerly of Fall River, died at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on February. 18, 2008 at the age of 80. Nancy was born & raised in Fall River and a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and Union Hospital School of Nursing in Fall River. She was worked as a Register Nurse for the Melrose Visiting Nurses Assoc., Normandy House and the Melrose Wakefield Hospital for many years before her retirement. Nancy was a member of the Melrose Women's Club, Melrose Polymia Choral Group and active in many church committee's at Incarnation Church in Melrose. Nancy was a Melrose resident for the past 45 years. She was the beloved wife of Robert Clement Barry, Sr for 55 years. Daughter of the late Josephine M. (Doyle) Daley and Thomas Leo Daley. Loving mother of Sheila Ann Barry of Melrose, Robert Clement Barry, Jr. & his wife Wendy of Andover, Michael John Barry & his wife Eileen of Newburyport and Kevin Thomas Barry of Melrose. Caring sister of the late Thomas Daley, Jean Donovan, Richard Daley, John Daley, Robert Daley and Mary Faith O'Neill. Also survived by sister in law Pauline Daley of CT. Devoted grandmother of Robert Clement III, and David Richard of Andover, and Michael John, Richard Thomas, Christopher Patrick, John Terrence, Brian Joseph and the late Joseph Edward Barry of Newburyport. Also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday Feb. 22nd at 9:45AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St., Melrose at 11AM. Relatives & friends invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8PM. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
