Nicoletta L. (Griffo) Incerto, of Chelsea, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 surrounded by family on February 10, 2022. Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Dr. Richard A. Incerto Sr. Loving mother of Roni M Melisi of Sandwich and the late Richard A. Incerto Jr. and his wife Theresa of Hamilton. Cherished grandmother of Corey Fealtman & her husband James of Beverly, Christine Urann & her husband William of Hanover and Mark Melisi & his wife Nicola of Walpole. Proud great grandmother of Nicoletta, Stella, Victoria, James, Benjamin, Jacob & Raymond. Loving sister of the late Frances Gargano and Guy Griffo.
Nicoletta was born in Chelsea, MA on January 11, 1932 to the late Gabriel and Lucia (Capone) Griffo. Nicoletta and her late husband Dick settled in Chelsea to raise their 2 children, living there for over fifty years. She was a talented cook known for her lasagna and a loving caretaker. Nicoletta enjoyed spending time with her family and drinking wine. She loved the quiet comfort of her own home where she enjoyed reading and caring for her plants. When she was younger, she loved to go out dancing with Dick and spend time at the beach. She also cherished her shopping trips with her sister, Frances.
A funeral service will be held for both Richard & Nicoletta on Monday, February 14, 2022 at the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, 302 Elm St. Everett at 11:00AM. Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial will follow at Woodlawn.
