Niko Mico, the older son of the late Dafina and Dhimitraq Mico and brother of the late Pandi and Vaska Mico, entered the eternal life peacefully on August 4, 2018 at the age of 92. Niko was born and raised in Albania, where he worked as a construction engineer for 30 years. He travelled for business around the world and loved to visit different countries and new places. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He and his family moved to US after his retirement. He was the beloved husband of the late Aferdita Mico. They were married for 63 years. He was loving father of Llazar Mico, Arthur Mico & his wife Anila, a loving grandpa to Arthur's children Chris and Luna and was always so happy to spend time with them. His family and friends will always remember him as a quiet and wise man, a loving, caring and honest person. Visitation will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 10:00-11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00AM. Burial in Forest Dale Cemetery, 150 Forest St. Malden and then a memorial reception at Bertucci's, 4054 Mystic Valley Parkway Medford at 12:30PM.
