Obituary

It is with great sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Noreen A. (Sullivan) Mullen, on November 11th, 2021. Known as "Rene" to everyone she met, was born in Boston to her loving parents. She was then raised in Charlestown where she graduated from Charlestown High School in 1973. Rene then went on to graduate from Boston Business School to later work as a legal secretary. She worked at a few law firms but spent most of her career at Nutter McClennen and Fish. While working full time, Rene also completed school to become a licensed electrologist. Rene met the love of her life Bobby and they later married. Rene and Bobby spent their time traveling anywhere tropical and later lived in Florida for some time. Rene met her beloved dog Tinker wandering on a beach in Lakeville, Massachusetts. She spent the next 15 years making fond memories and going on many adventures with Bobby and Tinker. Rene was able to share the last few years with her precious cat, Hunny Bunny. Rene will forever be remembered by her selflessness, sense of humor, and the fierce love she had for all of her family. Her humor and unforgettable personality will live on through the memories that her loved ones have made with her. Rene was always incredibly generous in sharing whatever she could with those around her. Rene was an active part of her family's life, especially her nieces and nephews. You could find her at their sports games, concerts, recitals, and plays. She also enjoyed her time at the beaches in Revere, Winthrop, Truro, and Florida where she swam and shared good times with family and friends. Noreen was the beloved wife of the late Robert Mullen.
