O. Anne Erikson passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on March 27th after a long illness, she was 75. Anne was born and raised in Malden, graduated from Malden High School and Cartherine Gibbs School in Boston. She lived in Winchester for 4 years, Malden most of her life and Melrose the past 18 years. Anne worked as a secretary for the Turner Construction Company in Boston for 25 years, was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Melrose and did volunteer work for the Bridge in Melrose tudoring reading to the 1st grade students at the Beebe School in Melrose for 10 years. Daughter of the late Leonard and Clorida ( Trottier ) Erikson. Sister of Leonard O. and Roberta Erikson of Wakefield. Aunt of Peter Erikson of Wakefield. Funeral Services will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Wed. March 31st at 1PM. Relatives and friends invited Visiting hours prior to the service from 12 Noon to 1 PM. Burial will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Memorial contributions may be made in Anne's memory to the 1st United Methodist Church in Melrose or to the American Cancer Society.
