Olympia A. "Lee" (Grieco) Renzella of Malden, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was 82 years old. Born in East Boston on November 4, 1928, a daughter to the late Domenic & Angelina (Bianco) Grieco, she was a 1946 graduate of East Boston High School. Mrs. Renzella was a resident of Malden for 60 years and worked as a sales clerk at Stuart's Department Store in Malden for many years. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church of Malden, loved her family, being a wife, mother & grandmother. Lee was a special lady who enjoyed baking, cooking, traveling and playing cards with the Golden Girls. She was the devoted wife of Frank S. Renzella, with whom they shared 60 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Linda A. Murphy of Saugus & Paul B. Renzella of Topsfield, Cherished grandmother of James A. Murphy of Saugus, Kristen A. Murphy of Melrose, Brian F. Murphy of Malden & April M. Renzella of Topsfield. Caring sister of the late Joseph & his wife Marie of Medford, the late Vito & Edie Grieco, Michael & Anna Grieco, Nicholas & Rose Grieco, Angelo Grieco, Frances & Frank Gallagher, Louise & Gus Lazzari & Gloria & John Pasqualetto. Sister-in-law of Mary & the late Armando DiGiacomo, the late Margaret & Charles DiGiacomo, Joseph & Lillian Renzella, the late Catherine & Fred Drinkwater, Peter & the late Carmella Renzella & his companion Mary, Yolanda & the late Ernest DiBattista & Albert & the late Jennie Renzella. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, February 5th at 8AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Church Herbert St., Melrose at 9AM. Family & friends respectfully invited. Visiting hours Friday from 4-8PM. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
