Patricia "Pat" (Cassidy) Davis passed away suddenly at the Lahey Clinic North in Peabody, on Sunday, September 22, 2013. She was 91 years of age. Pat was born and raised in Somerville; she lived in Melrose for over 30 years, Florida for many years and the last 8 years at Brooksby Village in Peabody. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker who cherished the times spent with her family. Pat loved music, dancing, spending time in Florida and was very proud of her two grandsons. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Davis. Devoted mother of the late Richard A. Davis Jr., Nancy Davis-Swanson & her husband Robert of West Roxbury and Robert Davis of South Berwick, Maine. Cherished grandmother of Brandon & Colin Swanson. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. A funeral service at the Gately Funeral Home in Melrose on Wednesday, September 25th will be private, followed by a burial at Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose.
