Patricia (Glavin) Dempsey, of Raymond, NH, formerly of Medford & Melrose, died at home on March 27, 2012 at 65 years of age. Pat was born in Boston, raised in Somerville & Melrose and a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Class of 1964. She worked as a Surgical Technician at New England Baptist Hospital, Mt. Auburn Hospital and the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary in Boston for 20 years. Pat resided in Medford for 23 years and the last 5 years in Raymond, NH. She enjoyed working, shopping, dancing and was always full of life. Pat was very sociable, had a lot of friends and her family was the most important part of her life. She was the beloved wife of the late Timothy L. Dempsey for 18 years. Devoted daughter of the Margaret (Allen) & the late Raymond Glavin. Loving sister of Raymond Glavin & his wife Maddie of Saugus, Michael Glavin & his wife Peri of NH, Peggy Muse & her companion Jerry Norton of Salisbury, Joseph Glavin & his companion Sue Laperriere of NH, Peter Glavin & his wife Diane of Dorchester, Charles Glavin & his wife Victoria of Melrose and Colleen Burtman & her husband Chuck of Billerica. Former sister in law of Maryellen Glavin of Salisbury. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandnieces & nephews. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Saturday, March 31st at 10:45AM. Funeral Mass in the Church of the Incarnation 425 Upham St., Melrose at 12PM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited.
