Patricia C. (Fitzpatrick) Plumer passed away at her home in Melrose, on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the age of 63. She was born in Boston on April 26, 1947 to the late Albert & Patricia (Waterman) Fitzpatrick. Patricia was raised in Somerville, graduated from St. Joseph High School in Somerville, Class of 1966 and has been a resident of Melrose since 1978. Mrs. Plumer worked in the office for Ryan Elliot Real Estate Company in Boston for 8 years and the in medical records at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital for 15 years. Pat loved to travel and especially enjoyed her trips to Nubble Light in York Beach, ME. She liked gardening, spending time with her family and was an avid Red Sox fan. Patricia was the loving mother of Kristen M. Plumer and Michael P. Plumer & his wife Ann all of Melrose. Proud grandmother of Matthew Patrick Plumer. Former wife of Frederick E. Plumer of Stoneham. Cherished friend of Jane Wenzel of Merrimack, NH. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St. Melrose, on Friday, December 17th at 8AM. A Funeral Mass in celebration of Patricia's life will be held at St. Mary's Church, Herbert St. Melrose, at 9AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-8PM. Interment at Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
